Chisa Busanga Camp
LOCATION: Remote Busanga Flood Plains in Northern Kafue National Park.
SETTING: On a beautiful island in the heart of the renowned Busanga Plains, overlooking the sweeping floodplains and dambos that teem with wildlife and birds.
ACCOMMODATION: Four one-of-a-kind "Bird's Nests", high off the ground and completely blending with surrounding trees. Great views. One tent has a elevator and is conveniently located near the main building for those who don’t have full mobility.
HIGHLIGHTS: Wild, remote and in one of the best wildlife-viewing parts of Zambia. Kafue National Park is the largest national park in Zambia, covering an area of 8600 square miles (similar in size to Massachusetts). It is home to over 55 different mammal species and about 480 bird species. Great predator sightings on the open floodplains where hunting is often witnessed.
ACTIVITIES: Included activities are morning and evening game drives in electric “Silent Safari” game viewers, walking safaris, electrically-assisted cycling safaris. Optional hot-air ballooning.
CHILD POLICY: Children aged 15 years and older are welcome at Chisa Busanga Camp. Kindly note, our small size means we have to
ask for the full adult rate. Reservations for children younger than 15 years on a buy-out basis of the camp.
GETTING THERE: Regular flights from Lusaka and Livingstone. Vehicle transfer from Ila Safari Lodge in Central Kafue.
