SETTING: Home to great elephant herds, this beautiful tract of wilderness, replete with views of woodlands, rocky hills, and shaded by gnarled old-growth Baobab and Acacia, offers the ultimate freedom to explore by day and night..
ACCOMMODATION: Eight comfortable tents with wooden floors and expansive verandahs overlooking seasonal watercourses for privacy, all with en suite bathrooms with running water and flush toilets. Two interconnecting rooms constitute a family suite. Triples are available. The camp is situated on flat ground , with good paths serving all tents. Tents have stairs leading unto them, but for clients with less mobility rooms closer to mess tent can be allocated and a ramp can be provided.
HIGHLIGHTS: Night drives, walking safaris, secluded game-viewing area and excellent all-round animal viewing, especially for elephant, buffalo, lion.
CHILD POLICY: Minimum age for shared game drives is 5 and minimum for walking safaris 12. Families with younger kids have to book a private vehicle.
GETTING THERE: Road transfers are ca. 3hrs from Arusha, Randilen Airstrip is 30min away and Kuro Airstrip about 1.5hrs (tarangire NP fee apply)
