LOCATION: Esirai Mobile Camp moves with the great migratory herds of Wildebeest and Zebra that cross the Serengeti. We locate the camp in the best-secluded vantage points, determined by seasonal weather changes and the position of the herds.

SETTING: As far from busy areas as possible! Dec-Mar: Naabi Hill, Southern Serengeti, Jun-Oct: Kogatende, Northern Serengeti.

ACCOMMODATION: Total of  8 mobile tents. 2 tents are interconnecting. En-suite bathrooms with hot safari showers and earth toilets. Tents lit by solar power. Separate mess and library tents. Adult double/twin and children triple available. 

HIGHLIGHTS: The sheer sense of remoteness and the simplicity of a well-designed safari camp i.e. a quintessential safari experience. Expect to see herds of the great migration and all the big cats – lion, leopard and cheetah. Other wildlife commonly seen are elephant, giraffe, zebra, warthog and hyena. Hot air ballooning adds a whole different dimension to animal viewing.

ACTIVITIES: The camp allows for the ultimate freedom and flexibility. Activities include game drives, walking safaris, fly-camping, bush meals and hot air balloon rides. Game drives take place twice daily.

CHILD POLICY: Children are welcome at Esirai. The minimum age to participate in a shared game package in Esirai is 8yrs. Families with younger kids are welcome but must book a private vehicle. Minimum age in a walking activity is 12yrs. Children stay at their parents' own risk. Child rates applicable to children aged 16 years and under regardless of allocation. Children under 12 must share a room with an adult.
